JAPAN TOUR 2011
In November five of us were off to Japan. Everybody was excited as this was the first time a South African team was to train and grade for Kyudo. After one week of nonstop training we were finally ready, Ino Sensei put allot of time and effort into our Kyudo and was very confident that we would all do well. On Sunday we all left for the main Dojo in Chiba. We were to grade with around 900 other Kyudoka. The day went well with three members passing Shodan.
I would like to thanks Sensei and the Ino family for their exceptional hospitality. We all had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip in 2013.
Below are some pictures from our trip enjoy!

CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW KYUDOJO
It has been a long dream of ours to have a large traditional Kyudojo in South Africa. That dream is now becoming a reality. In December 2011 we started construction on one of Africa’s first and only large traditional Kyudo Schools, The New Dojo is situated behind the Boskruin community centre on Kelly road Boskruin.
We are aiming to officially open the school in March of 2012.
